11/21/17: Thanksgiving Day Holiday 

In recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday, all U.S. Equity and Bond markets will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2017.  Siebert offices will be closed in observance of the holiday on Thursday, November 23, 2017, and will reopen for business on Friday, November 24, 2017.  In addition, U.S. Equity  domestic markets will close at 1:00 p.m. and the Bond Markets will close at 2:00 p.m. ET on Friday November 24, 2017.  Our Siebert offices will close at 2:00 p.m.; however our Retail Trading Desk, Customer Service and New Accounts Departments will be staffed until 4:00 p.m. on that Friday.  There will be an after-hours trading session from 1:00 until 4:00 on Friday. Siebert Announces Relocation of Boca Raton, FL Office

Exciting News! As of September 5, 2017 the Siebert Boca Raton office located at 4400 North Federal Highway has moved to a more accommodating space in the same office building. Our new Boca office has moved a few doors down from Suite 152 to Suite 122. The new space will allow us to better accommodate our clients and has two new designated Siebert parking spots right in front of the new office. 06/15/2017: SEC Adopts T+2 Settlement Cycle for Securities Transactions

On March 22, 2017, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted an amendment to shorten by one business day the standard settlement cycle for most broker-dealer securities transactions. Currently, the standard securities trade settlement cycle for equities, corporate and municipal bonds, and unit investment trusts, among other instruments is the third day after a trade is executed, (T+3). The implementation date for the move to (T+2) in the U.S. market will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Thursday, September 7, 2017 will be a double settlement day for trade dates September 1, 2017, and September 5, 2017.

This amended rule is designed to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure a coordinated and expeditious transition by market participants to a shortened standard settlement cycle. Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc. will be required to comply with the amended rule beginning on September 5, 2017. National Financial Services, LLC (NFS), our clearing broker, has begun the 2016 tax form mailing process. Log in to your SiebertNet account to view and download your available tax forms and to receive up-to-date information as well as the status of your additional forms before the April 18, 2017 tax date. Please reference the Tax Form Mailing Calendar below for available tax forms. All forms are mailed within five business days of the "Activates Online" dates listed in the table. 10/31/2016: Update: Beverly Hills Office Relocation

The Muriel Siebert & Co. branch office in Beverly Hills, currently located at 9701 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 1111, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, will be transitioning to a new location in Beverly Hills. We will advise of the new location for this branch office when it is available for business.

10/21/2015: Complex Passwords Update

Effective November 2015, you will be able to use complex passwords to log into the SiebertNet website. These new passwords will be more secure because they will be more complex making brute force attacks and password guessing more difficult. We will introduce a new password meter, which will help you assess the strength of the password you create.

At the same time, we are making enhancements to the security question that you must answer in order to reset the password online. The new questions require more individual, personal information, and allow the use of various types of characters. When you create a new password, you will also be prompted to choose a new security question.

  • You may opt to update to a complex password effective November 2015.
  • The new password policy will allow between 6 and 20 characters.
  • Passwords will be required to include at least one character from three of the allowed character sets: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters
  • You will also be required to choose a new security question

  • Save up to 50 Orders - The new order ticket will allow you to save up to 50 orders across login sessions for up to 30 days. Click here to view.

Good news!  Going green by going paperless just became even easier!

We are pleased to announce that eDelivery of account documents has been enhanced through the addition of Tax Documents and a new eDelivery enrollment page on our secure SiebertNet site.

Now, in addition to receiving email notifications of the availability of your Trade Confirms, Monthly Account Statements and Shareholder reports, you can also choose to receive eDelivery of Tax Forms & Related Disclosures for your eligible accounts with Siebert.

Additionally, the new Document Delivery Instructions page also simplifies your enrollment in and management of eDelivery by listing in one place all enrollment fields and documents for each account linked to your User ID. You can also add or change email addresses for any of your linked accounts directly through the new instruction page.

With eDelivery you can take advantage of convenient and timely email notification when eligible documents become available, gain instant access to your documents, enhance your security and identity theft protection, and also simplify your record keeping.

To enroll in or manage your eDelivery service, first log on to SiebertNet. Next, access the new Document Delivery Instructions page from the top menu bar under the “Service” tab.

03/21/2013: New "Skip Order Preview" Feature Available 4/6/13

We are pleased to confirm that, effective Saturday, April 6, 2013, National Financial Services LLC (NFS), our carrying broker and the provider of our secure SiebertNet web site, will introduce a new feature allowing you, at your sole discretion, to bypass the Order Preview Screen when you enter an order online for equities, options or mutual funds. 02/22/2013: TurboTax Integration is Now Available!

We are pleased to announce that National Financial Services LLC (NFS), our carrying broker, now supports TurboTax integration. If you are a TurboTax user, this free new feature will allow you to import eligible tax forms for 2012 for your Siebert accounts into TurboTax, thus eliminating the time and effort required to manually enter this information.

Please note that the availability of tax forms for your account(s) with Siebert is subject to their production schedule and tax forms are not available until they are produced by NFS. If you attempt to download your tax forms into TurboTax but receive a message indicating "The information you have requested from National Financial is unavailable at this time," it is because your tax forms have not been processed and made available online yet by NFS.

NFS has confirmed that it processed and mailed the original tax forms for 2012 for most customer accounts by February 15, 2013.  However, NFS has filed an extension to process the original 1099s for 2012 for certain accounts by February 27, 2013.  The accounts affected by the extension generally hold either mutual funds or REITs which have not provided income reallocation and for which, based on past experience, NFS believes there is a high probability of a reclassification still occurring.  In addition, the extension will also include some accounts which require manual basis adjustments and which may fall under one of the following conditions: tech short, out of balance, premium adjustments for some options trades, and unknown basis.  Note that tax statements do not become available online or for import until several days after they are processed and mailed. Please also note that, where applicable, tax statements are subject to later correction by NFS. 

Please note that TurboTax will only pull information for the accounts linked to the SiebertNet (myStreetscape) User ID you enter at TurboTax.com.  Please also note that the 1099 import process will include the 1099s for any and all accounts linked to your User ID for which a 1099 has been produced.  In order to import the 1099 for the account of a specific taxpayer, you will need to make sure that it is the only account linked to your User ID for which a 1099 has been issued by NFS.  Note that 1099s are not issued for prototype retirement accounts including IRAs and Rollover IRAs.  If necessary, we can provide you with a separate User ID for each account for which you need to import a 1099 separately into TurboTax.  Please contact Technical Support by email at TechSupport@SiebertNet.com or by phone at 800-872-0444, option #4, 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. ET, Monday - Friday.

When available, the following current and corrected forms are eligible for import through the new TurboTax integration feature: 1099-B; 1099-DIV; 1099-INT; 1099-OID and 1099-R.

Please note that TurboTax will only pull information for the accounts linked to the SiebertNet (myStreetscape) User ID you enter at TurboTax.com. Here is the step-by-step process for importing eligible tax forms for your accounts with Siebert into your account with TurboTax.com:

1. Log into your TurboTax.com account at their website, www.turbotax.com.

2. Next, click on "Tools" at top of the web page to access the "Tools Center" pop-up window.

3. Click on "Topic List" in the "Tools Center" pop-up window.

4. After accessing the "Topic List," click on the "Expand All" button located at bottom left of the pop-up window.

5. Under the "Topic List," now select "Download / Import Tax Info."

6. On the "Import Summary" page that appears, click on the blue button labeled "Add Other Documents."

7. Make sure the radio button next to "Import from my bank or brokerage" is selected.

8. Under "Import from my bank or brokerage," enter the name of our carrying broker, "National Financial."

9. Make sure the name "National Financial" is highlighted in the drop-down menu and then click on "Continue."

10. Now you can sign on to National Financial to import your eligible tax forms by entering your SiebertNet (myStreetscape) User ID and PIN.

The new iPad App, provided through National Financial Services LLC (NFS), our carrying broker, gives you ready access to the following information and features:

  • Account information including positions, balances, historical transactions and order status.
  • Up-to-date market information including quotes, a watch list and news stories.
  • Order entry for equities, options2 and mutual funds3.

You will find the new iPad App by going to SiebertNet.com/iPadApp on your iPad. You can also find it listed on the App Store by searching under "myStreetscape® Brokerage Mobile." Once you have installed the App, you can access your Siebert account(s) with the same User ID and PIN that you currently use for the SiebertNet.com website and our other MobileBroker applications.
