Login Issues - Add Trusted Sites If you are experiencing difficulty logging in to SiebertNet from the home page at www.siebertnet.com, you may be able to resolve the issue by adding our login page as a trusted site to your browser. Please follow these directions:

Internet Explorer
1. Click on 'Tools' at the top.
2. Click on 'Internet Options'.
3. Click on the 'Security' tab at the top.
4. Click on 'Trusted Sites' at the top.
5. Click the 'Sites' button.
6. Type in: https://*.siebertnet.com.
7. Click the 'Add' button on the right.
8. Type in: https://*.mystreetscape.com.
9. Click the 'Add' button on the right.
10. Click on 'Close' at the bottom.
11. Click on 'OK' at the bottom.

Chrome
1. From the top menu of Chrome, click on the Customize Menu.
2. Select "Settings" from the drop down and click on "Show advanced settings"
3. Click on the "Content Settings" button in the "Privacy" section.
4. Click on the "Manage Exceptions" button in the "Cookies" section.
5. Type in: https://*.siebertnet.com
6. Select 'Allow' from the Behavior dropdown menu.
7. Type in: https://*.mystreetscape.com
8. Select 'Allow' from the Behavior dropdown menu.
9. Click on 'Done' at the bottom.
10. Click on 'Done' again at the bottom.

Firefox
1. From the top menu of Firefox, click on the Open Menu.
2. Click on 'Options'.
3. Click on 'Privacy' at the top of window.
4. Next to "Firefox will:" Choose "Use custom settings for history"
5. Under the 'Cookies' section, click on the Exceptions button.
6. Type in: https://*.siebertnet.com
7. Click the 'Allow' button.
8. Type in: https://*.mystreetscape.com
9. Click the 'Allow' button.
10. Click on 'Close' at the bottom.
11. Click on 'OK' at the bottom.

Macintosh Computers

FireFox 3.x and Higher
1. At the top left of the Firefox window, click on 'Firefox', select 'Preferences'.
2. Select the 'Privacy' panel.
3. Set 'Firefox will' dropdown to: 'Use custom settings for history'.
4. Next to 'Accept' cookies from sites, click 'Exceptions.'
5. Type in: https://*.siebertnet.com
6. Click the 'Allow' button.
7. Type in: https://*.mystreetscape.com
8. Click the 'Allow' button.
9. Click the 'Close' button at the bottom.
10. Click the 'OK' button at the bottom.

Safari 7.x and Higher
1. At the top left of the Safari window, click on 'Safari', select 'Preferences'.
2. Select the 'Security' panel.
3. Next to 'Accept cookies' from sites, click 'Always'.
4. Click the 'OK' button at the bottom.
5. Click the 'Close' button at the bottom.
Login Issues - Clear Cache If you are experiencing difficulty logging in to SiebertNet from the home page at www.siebertnet.com, you may be able to resolve the issue by clearing your cache. Please follow these directions:

Internet Explorer 9.x and Higher
1. Select Tools (press the gear icon on the top right or press Alt+X)./
2. In Tools select Safety > Delete browsing history.
3. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files.
Chrome 37 and Higher
1. From the top menu of Chrome, click on the Customize Menu:
2. Click on "History" from the drop down and click on the "Clear Browsing data" button.
3. Next to "Obliterate the following items from:" change to "the beginning of time"
4. Make sure "Cached images and files" is checked.
5. Click on the "Clear browsing data" button on the bottom.
Firefox 3.x
1. Select "History" from the drop down menu and click on "Clear Recent History".
2. In the Clear 'Recent History' box, change 'Time Range to clear' to 'Everything'.
3. Click on the button next to 'Details'.
4. Make sure 'Cache' is checked.
5. Click on 'Clear Now' on the bottom
Macintosh Computers

Safari 4.x
1. Click on 'Safari' located at the top.
2. Click on 'Empty Cache'.
3. Click on the 'Empty' button on the pop up window.

Firefox 3.x
1. Click on 'Tool' located at the top.
2. Click on 'Clear Recent History'.
3. Change 'Time range to clear' to 'Everything'
4. Click on the button next to 'Details'
5. Make sure 'Cache' is checked
6. Click on the button 'Clear Now'.

System Requirements Our recommended operating system requirements are Windows 7 or higher. We also recommend a processor of Pentium III – 1 GHz or higher; 256 MB of RAM or higher and at least a 56K modem.

Monitor Display Settings We recommend a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768.<

Compatible Browsers We recommend the latest Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome browsers. For Mac OS X, we recommend the latest version of Firefox or Safari 5.x version. Please note: Siebert continues to test newly released browsers for compatibility. You can check back occasionally to this page to see if the recommended browsers have changed.

AOL users: If you are accessing the Internet through AOL, we recommend that you use either Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Chrome after establishing your Internet connection through AOL.

Browser version:  You can check which version you have by clicking on the word "Help" at the very top of your browser then choosing either "About Internet Explorer," "About Mozilla Firefox" or "About Google Chrome. " Immediately after the name of your browser will be the version number.

Updating to Microsoft Internet Explorer 11:
In order to utilize Siebert's trading site with Microsoft Explorer IE 11.x, it is necessary to reconfigure Internet privacy settings as follows:
 1. Upgrade to IE 11.
 2. Click Tools, Internet Options and Privacy tab.
 3. Slide the bar down to Medium.
 4. Click apply.
 5. Click OK.

Dial-up Users There is too much content on our homepage to download to have it work well using dialup. You can continue directly to the login page www.mystreetscape.com/my/msiebert. This site will be available until further notice. When you go to our home page www.siebertnet.com , you can click on the Go To Original Site link in the upper right corner of the page to access the former site or simply bookmark the direct link https://www.mystreetscape.com/my/msiebert.

Recommended Browsers Downloads SiebertNet works with most web browsers. For the best experience we recommend using Internet Explorer 11.x (PC) or FireFox 32 (Mac/PC). You can download browsers for free by clicking on any of the icons below.  If you are on AOL, use  "Keyword: FireFox" or "Keyword: Microsoft" from the America Online main menu.

Browser Plug-ins - Java Applets If you are having trouble viewing the SmartMoney Retirement Center worksheets and calculators, the scrolling Economic Calendar or other applets, it is possible that you do not have the latest version (6) of Java installed or do not have Java enabled. Please follow the below instructions, or use the form at the bottom of this page to e-mail us.

To install Java:
1. Go to http://www.java.com.
2. Click Free Java Download.
3. Follow the screen prompts and instructions to install.

To enable Java for Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11 for PC:
1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options and then click the Security tab.
2. Click the Internet icon to select a Web content zone.
3. Next, click Custom Level and in the Security Settings window, scroll down to the Java category.
4. In Java permissions uncheck Disable Java and check either High, Low or Medium Safety.
5. Next, scroll down to the Scripting category.
6. Select Enable in Active Scripting and in Scripting of Java Applets.
7. Click OK.
8. In the Internet Options window, click Apply and then OK.

Browser Plug-ins - Flash Some SiebertNet content requires the latest Abobe Flash plug-in. In order to fully utilize SiebertNet features, please take the following simple steps:

1. Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
2. Click the "Agree and install now" link to automatically download and install Adobe Flash Player. 3. Depending on your security settings, you may see a Security Warning dialog box. Click Install to install the ActiveX control. 4. When the installation is complete, you will see the Adobe Flash Player logo and text.
